Condition : This knife was made by Simmons Hardware which produced the Keen Kutter which this knife seams to be.
The blades of the knife are well worn, the larger knife wobbles but still manages to have a snap, both half and closed.
The small blade is firm and has a more decisive snap both half and closed.
Considering the age, somewhere around 120 years its in remarkable complete condition, the solid Ebony wooden handle shows no shrinkage, cracks or splits and the shield is perfectly located in position.
Both blades have been stamped on the tang but are very worn, you can however make out the letters sufficiently to indicate E.C. Simmons St.Louis.
