Our National Gemstone is natures work of art and each piece is unique
From the Australian outback - Winton, Koroit, Yowah, Eromanga and Quilpie
Queensland Koroit Opal RoughKoroit opal is found in an area that was once the edge of a mighty inland sea
and where there was lush vegetation and dinosaurs roamed.
Over time the sea evaporated and left behind the opal, filling the voids in rocks over millions of years.
When the rocks are extracted from the earth they show little of what lies inside
and only when you break them open do they reveal their true beauty.

We endeavour at all times to take the most true to life pictures possible. However, cameras often pick up colours and light differently and variations may occur.
Please Note: all our pictures are taken when stones are wet to best show how they will look when finished.
They have also been enlarged to show detail. Please refer to measurements for actual size.
All our rough opals are sourced directly from the mines and we guarantee all our items to be exactly
as described, genuine, natural and untreated.
We sell quality opals and customer satisfaction is important to us.
If, for any reason you are not completely happy with your purchase,
please contact us before leaving feedback.
