Vintage large Heavy Sato Style Wireless Cloisonné Vase 1900s Meiji Japan. A beautiful and heavy walled cloisonné vase in excellent condition. Wireless form aside from the large and beautiful soft flower pattern to one side as shown which seems to emerge from the green ground in a ghostly ephemeral quality.
The heavy set thick walled quality of the vase itself is typical of the of Sato workshops and the silver metal rims and overall style are also akin to this maker, whilst I see no makers marks.
A couple of tiny fleabite like chips to the enamel as shown in the close ups however essentially excellent in all respects.
Standing height 25cm, diameter 16cm approx. Weight 1.1 kilos approx.

A beautiful and heavy walled cloisonné vase in excellent condition. Wireless form aside from the large and beautiful soft flower pattern to one side as shown which seems to emerge from the green ground in a ghostly ephemeral quality.
The heavy set thick walled quality of the vase itself is typical of the of Sato workshops and the silver metal rims and overall style are also akin to this maker, whilst I see no makers marks.
