She works for great decorators like Jean Royère (pedestal tables with floral and animal motifs), Maurice Rinck or Jules Leleu, for whom she creates two ceramic panels that adorned the pool of the Pierre Loti liner. It responds to public commissions (post office in Isle sur Sorgue for example) or private ones (churches in Roaix or Valréas in the Vaucluse).

In 1961, she was awarded a gold medal at the National of Fine Arts.

The artist stopped his ceramic production in 1969, disgusted by the production of the time, which was too "touristy" for his taste, and by the commercialism of the galleries. She then devoted herself solely to specific orders while painting and illustrating books for children.

In 1992, the Jean-Pierre Chalon gallery produced a retrospective of all of his work.

The "Alice Colinieu" signatures are most often engraved in the clay or stamped.
