Presenting an exceptional antique lidded pot pourri jar masterfully crafted by the quality English makers Royal Worcester. This wonderfully elegant piece is beautifully decorated with hand painted floral posies atop a blush ivory ground. The masterfully executed hand painted artwork is beautifully detailed with glistening gilt gold detailling adding a lavish opulence to the exquisite design. Gilt gold trims to the rims and beaded foot beautifully unify the harmonious design. This exceptional example comes presented with its original lid and pierced cover, perfectly completing this exceptionally fine example. SIZE: This delightful piece stands approx 140mms tall measured from the base to the top of the finial upon the pierced lid and measures 110mms in diameter at its widest. WEIGHT: This piece weighs 370 grams unpackaged. CONDITION: This stunning example is presented in excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The hand painted artwork remains wonderfully crisp and vibrant and the gilt gold trims are in outstanding lustrous condition. The body and interior are clean and stain free. This exceptional example is near impossible to fault, has been very well cared for and presents magnificently. MARKS: This piece is beautifully stamped to the base with a Royal Worcester mark as indicated in the images.
