You are viewing a Vintage (from the late 40s to 50s era) beautiful Japanese handmade delicate bone china fairy posy vase, pixie planter. This is a very sweet whimsical china ornament/posy/planter dish. A Happy little fairy, elf or woodland sprite, poses lying at the side of the log with a sweet little bunny rabbit... beautifully modelled, The top opening in the log is perfect for a few tiny sprigs or flower heads cut from the garden. Add a touch of kitsch to your decor with this planter. Don't have a green thumb? No sweat, this is also great to hold napkins, letters/bills that need mailing, etc.

CONDITION:  This bone-china vase is Japanese Vintage Late 40 to 50s, Pre-Owned and is in Fair to Good Condition. It has some crazing, the hand paintwork is still intact and the colours are bright, it has a hairline crack (doesn't go all the way through on the inside at the rear section) The pixie is missing part of his leg. # Please note: The Photographs form part of the description; Super-sized photos can show up the finer details and condition.

PACKAGING AND DISPATCH: You can be assured that I will pack your items extra well and they will be posted within 24 hours from the business day (MONDAY TO FRIDAY) of receiving payment. I post each day but the cut off time is 11 am if you order after this time your order will go in the following day's Post. Most of my items do not have original packaging and I use new heavy-duty bubble wrap and recycled cardboard, paper as my packing materials. I use 500 grams, 1kg, 3kg, 5kg Satchels to keep the postage cost down.

DAMAGED & LOST MAIL: All items are sent with tracking. Items over the value of $25 include Insurance. If your item is lost in the post, you need to contact Auspost directly to claim your insurance.

If you require a Fragile Service, you will need to find a courier company that offers this service. Australia Post Extra Cover Insurance will cover you for loss only. Australia Post does not offer a fragile service so items cannot be covered for damage in transit. I always add lots of extra weight to the postage cost to make sure your item is well packed making its journey to you intact. I use heavy-duty bubble wrap and recycled boxes.

• New - An item that has never been opened or removed from the manufacturer's sealing (if applicable).
• As New - An item that looks like it has just had its shrink-wrap removed. No visible wear, the item is flawless and intact. 
• Excellent - Minor wear consistent with age and history. 
• Very Good - Minor to moderate wear and tear. 
• Good - Moderate wear and tear, but still has good years left.
• Fair - Has lived a "full life" and has a distressed look with noticeable wear.
• Work Needed - Great bones, but will need some work or restoration.
