The term VIKING is used to describe Norse (Scandinavian) warriors,

explorers, merchants & pirates who raided, traded and settled large

areas of Europe and North Atlantic islands between the eighth

and eleventh century.

This period is known as the Viking Age and the Norsemen

used their famed longships to travel the seas.

The longship was referred to as

Drakkar which is a Norse translation for dragon.

These ships, intended for exploration and warfare, were designed

for speed, agility and powered by oars.

They were generally built from oak and superbly carved.

This Intricate Pewter piece is handcrafted in Australia from

Australian Made Genuine High Quality Pewter.

It is Nickel, Lead & Allergen Free.

Copied & cast from a very old brooch.

Fastened with a Lapel Pin.

BEWARE of impure Tibetan, Alpaca or Asian Silver/Metal Imitations!!

The Pewter size is approx. 17mm diameter
