Presenting this elegant hand blown Victorian Era milk glass bon bon dish/brides bowl
This great piece features beautiful pink cranberry glass to its top surface of the body which merges to a white milk glass at its centre. The bowl has been hand painted with lovely flowers and foliage creating wonderful contrast adding elegance.
The bowl features a wide set scalloped rim creating extra pleasing visual appeal to the form. The base also has a ground pontil mark.
This is a beautiful Victorian Era bon bon dish/brides basket bowl that would make a great addition to any glass collection. In addition, it would make a great and fuctional table or coffee table centrepiece.
This beautiful piece measures approximately 26cm in diameter and stands approximately 8cm in height at its tallest scallop.
Presented in excellent Antique condition with no chips, cracks or repairs.
There are losses to the hand painted areas as would be expected from a piece around 140 years old.
The glass displays typical Victorian era qualities with minor debris inclusions etc which is favored in glass from these periods.
The glass retains its original beautiful shine and vibrancy!
