It has been hand made entirely of sterling silver but for the ebony wood handle which sits firmly without any wobble. It is a large boy :) being bigger than a regular teapot you may expect, measuring 28cm in length from spout to handle and weighing exactly 700 grams. It presents well with a few dents to the front of the pot though they do not appear too troublesome. The maker is William Hutton and Sons (Edward Hutton) who first registered as a company in 1880. A true delight to list, we have not seen a more grandiose teapot for a while yet!Nor have we seen a Victorian piece past or present with any reference to our home land of Australia. The reserve is $10.00 Shipping : All silver items will be posted with insurance and signature on delivery services We are happy to combine postage with any other goods purchased for an additional $1.00 per item fg Payment : Please make payment within 2 business days PayPal and wire transfer are accepted Condition: in fair to good antique condition showing a few dents, Original/Reproduction: Original, Composition: Sterling, Brand: William Hutton & Sons, Product Type: Teapot, Originating Region: England (for Australian), Era: 19th Century, Style: Victorian
