Vecchia Murano Decanter and Glass set.  Purchased in Venice 1989.  Venetian Glass.. This set includes a Decanter and 6 Glasses and was purchased in Venice in 1989. It has never been used and has been housed in a Display Cabinet all its life..  The Glass is in perfect condition but the 24k Gold paintwork shows wear.   Perhaps this wear has occurred because of humidity and storage - I am not sure.  Each piece of this Venetian Glass set, is hand made and mouth blown.  When the set was purchased, the seller advised that Venetian Glass bounces, if dropped.  This advice however, is a matter of opinion - as you can imagine, this theory has never been tested,  but hopefully, if any piece of this set is ever dropped,  this advise proves to be true.
