100 year stamp collection.   Hello stamp collectors and admirers,

Here is my 45+ year stamp collection. I've been collecting since I was 8. Guess that dates me, yikes.

It's been a wonderful pastime and something my father passed on to me.  His small collection is also included.  He was born in 1929 and also started as a child. I've collected stamps, for the simple fact they're wonderfully diverse in art and form. However, there is no central theme to my collection or rhyme or reason to variety in my collecting.

I'm parting with it, for the simple fact I've not given much attention to it for 15 or so years.  It's time for some one else to enjoy them as much as I have.  Share them with their kids and get them excited. I realize it's big collection and mixed in condition and styles. Please take time to view all the photo galleries.  I have photos or scans of almost every stamp or stamp page from the collection. -- What you see is exactly what is included: All my stamps are in various conditions ranging from fair to good to very good to mint, unused condition. All the photos show the range of condition. They are mostly canceled stamps. Both mounted and loose. With a healthy portion of unused/not canceled stamps.   -- Among them are some non-postage stamps ie:           tax stamps, stock stamps, revenue, documentary, transfer, and charity stamps. Stamps date from 1850s thru 1999. I don't think I've collected anything from 2000s, maybe an odd stamp or few I may have tossed in the box. The list of what you're getting: 3 ring binders, 1 issue binder for FDC, 9 stamp albums, and a multitude of loose pages and loose stamps, smaller albums and related stamp collecting stuff. 3 laminated bookmarks made from vintage stamps are shown below, but not in the count. **  Please see extensive  PHOTO GALLERIES below.  Thank you.  ** I tried to keep a running tally count of the stamp types [may not be exact, but close, as I am human] ► -- 8700 -- World    ► -- 3542 -- USA Canceled/used       ►-- 578 -- USA Unused postage / Face value $ 76.94 ►-- 22 -- USA FDC / First day issue on envelopes or cards      ►-- 99 -- USA printed postage on card ►  total for USA -- 4225 -- ►  total cumulative postage stamps -- 12,925 -- ► 214 -- Non postage, tax, revenue, documentary, stock transfer or charity type etc. *** Total count is over 13,100 stamps in this collection. **** Not every stamp is shown. I didn't scan every duplicate. Includes various other stamp related items including crystal mounts, books, identity guides and lots more. It's a huge collection. Fun for the whole family.
