MEATAL & ENAMEL Stick Pin BADGE
Theme: Military type Charity.
" TIN HAT DAY "
" 10/- "
( 10 shillings)
maker, AMOR, SYDNEY
Up for sale, a rarer version of this type of badge, with 10 shillings & green enamel, and a fairly thickish coating of gold plate.
A great looking badge with an Australian digger soldier side portrait, and is genuine from the post WW2 era ....It was sold back in the day ( before 1966) for 10 shillings (10/-) which was quite a bit of dosh back then!, as a charity fund raiser for Australian military's personnel involved in Australia's efforts in WW2.
Oval, approx 24mm long, 16mm across.
( 50mm long including the pointed stick pin )
Metal with gold plated finish ( shows light wear) , & green enamel.
As-found in an Estate collection, Condition looks to be very good for age, with normal storage wear 'n tear evident, expect the enamel has some surface light scuffing/soiling/tarnish to varying degrees..
..I have taken good clear photos (they can be supersized to see in great detail), to help you judge the condition as well as the description above.
