Technics SE-A5 power amplifier, New Class A 120W pc into 8Ω. Silky smooth performance, will compliment any high end system.
Big VU meters are responsive and work flawlessly, Perspex is crystal clear with a tiny, almost imperceptible scratch on the right. Can be seen in pic 3 (just). The body has some very minor, small grazes but so hard to see, check the extreme close-up last pic.
Generally speaking this is a sensational example of a classic and desirable power amp. I'm currently running a Kenwood KP-9010 turntable with a Denon DC-103 cartridge through a direct connected (DC) Yamaha CA-2000 as a pre-amp . It's sublime.
Operates in both DC and normal connection channels, cannot be faulted.
Happy to ship within Australia, flat rate, will be packed exceptionally well. Solid box with reinforced corners and sufficient internal padding.

From HIFI engine:
The SE-A5 power amplifier employs Technics New Class A circuitry, a design which eliminates the switching and crossover distortion associated with conventional class B amplifiers.
New Class A provides the low distortion of class A amplifiers, yet maintains the power efficiency of class B amplifiers.
Although the New Class A circuitry itself results in distortion figures as low as the best amplifiers in the audio industry, Technics has gone another step beyond.
