The tall bearded iris are a very easy plant to grow and reward you with lovely flowers in spring. They love the areas of Australia with hot and dry summers and will survive droughts once established. Try to plant in full sun and don’t worry about any winter frosts you might get. Alkaline soil is preferred. Don't plant too deeply nor cover with groundcover or mulch
