This lovely Hamburg-made Steinway has been owned and cherished by our family for over 30 years, having previously been owned by a family friend for a similar period. The piano was supplied new by Nicholsons of Sydney.  The model M is commonly known as the Studio Grand and is considered to be the best compromise between sound qualiity and size.  The serial number is 347343. The piano is in very good original condition.  It has had very light use during our ownership and has spent 99% of the time under dust covers protected from direct sunlight.  The soundboard is original and undamaged.  The action is fine and all keys (which are the original ivory) work as they should.  There are some minor cosmetic blemishes (see photo of keyboard cover), but these are superficial.  The piano hasn't been tuned for probably five years, but has been serviced regularly during our ownership, and hasn't been fitted with any non-Steinway parts as unfortunately so often happens. This is a rare opportunity to acquire a very genuine and desirable Steinway  at a very fair price.  You are welcome to come and see the instrument for yourself, and get a professional inspection if you wish.  I've tried to put a phone number here so you can call with any questions but ebay doesn't seem to allow that - feel free to send me a note and I'll get back to asap.
