Singer 15K26 & Attachments Instruction Booklet

This Singer Instruction Manual was recreated from a carefully scanned, digitally repaired and reconstructed images and text from an original instructional booklet first printed in 1908 and supplied with a Singer 15K26 of that era (with "V" prefix to serial No.) but is a suitable manual for most early Singer 15 class models as well as many other early era central bobbin oscillating hook machines (please contact me if you are unsure). The instructional text is the same as for the original documents and does reference charmingly obsolete terms and materials but is also very clear and easy to follow. NOTE: Singer do have PDF manuals for 15 class models which can be downloaded from their site for free, but the resolution is low to reduce the file size and Singer have modernised the font, text and layout of their PDF manuals thus losing some of the antiquarian charm of the original instruction book. I am happy to direct you to the location of the free PDF if you are not able to find it on your own.

Printed using a laser printer on 80gsm pure white 50% to 100% recycled A4 paper with coloured 125 gsm cover at 600 dpi. Paper stock and cover colour subject to availability

After realising the difficulty finding the parts and accessories from an Australian supplier I decided Australian antique and vintage sewing machine enthusiasts deserve better, so I’m putting my money where my mouth is; these machines are not just antiquarian objects of beauty, they were made to be used and designed to last and with the right care and love they will still be sewing well into the 22nd century if not the 23rd. To keep the postage low I pack small light items such as bobbins as large letters, but this means it is not possible to set the eBay postage calculator to be accurate so when ordering more that one item please request a revised invoice. Orders over AU$50 will require a signature to acknowledge delivery.

About combined postage: Due to a number of international orders being reported lost in transit recently and the prohibitive cost of a tracked international package via Australia Post, I have reluctantly been forced to remove my international service on eBay. If you are outside of Australia and can’t find an item I sell from a local supplier please contact me privately and we’ll work something out.
