The Hybrid Sport neck restraint harness is the next evolution of the Hybrid Pro Rage technology. Constructed from DuPont carbon polymer materials, the Hybrid Sport is in every way superior to previous neck restraint models. The sliding tether system allows for greater side to side movement.

The carbon polymer construction makes the Hybrid Sport 20% lighter than previous models, and much more durable than standard polymer models. The high wing shoulders allow for secure seatbelt containment. The Hybrid Sport straps directly to the driver, allowing it to safely and securely hold your neck and helmet in place, while still allowing superior range of motion.

How To Measure:

Hybrid sizing for chest strap with driving suit on.

1. Measure around chest below pectoral muscles.
2. Measure with driving suit. If not available, add 1" to measurement.
3. Take measurement with tape placed against driver without any slack and without pulling the tape tight.
4. Once measurement has been determined, refer to sizeing chart above for device size selection.

Summary: My street car, that I use for track days, does not have a roll bar or 4/5 point harness, and I wanted a HANS device, so the Hybrid Sport was my best option. I was concerned about how it would fit, and it's comfort while driving, but have found that it works perfectly. It's not noticeable or distracting while driving. The Hybrid Sport comes with D-clip terminals that attach to the helmet, so no need to order these separately.

Summary: I race in a class 10 car in the desert. This is the most comfortable HNR I've ever used. I'm not a skinny mini but I'm not huge either. This system fits me perfectly. It attaches to my helmet easily and it's easy to climb in and out of the car with it on. Simpson has always made some of the best safety equipment available to desert racers, for which I am very greatful.
