Handling Times – Regular Trading

If your order (including payment/postage details) is received Monday – Friday by 8.00am (AEST), GoodDrop will ship the same business day. If your order is completed after 8.00am, your order will be dispatched the next business day. Orders placed after 8am Friday will be dispatched the following Monday.

Handling Times – Peak Trading

During peak periods or promotions, orders will be dispatched within 3 business days (Monday-Friday). During this time, you may receive a tracking number prior to courier collection. This will show as ‘no scan data’ on the courier’s website. Please be patient, your order is in the process of being picked and packed and making its way to you.

Delivery

We ship Australia wide and use Fastway Couriers to deliver your order. For some regional and remote areas, Fastway Couriers may pass your order to an on-forwarding freight service provider if they do not directly service the area. Fastway Couriers deliver Australia wide, Monday – Friday 8am-5pm. If you are not home during weekdays it is advisable to provide a work/alternate address. We do not ship internationally at this time and are unable to offer local pickup. Please check your delivery address details when you place your order.

Tracking

Once your order is ready for collection by the courier, your eBay Sales Record will be updated with a tracking number and you will be notified via an automated eBay email message. This number will be active within 24hrs of dispatch. You can use your tracking number on the Fastway website www.fastway.com.au to track your delivery or arrange a re-delivery if the initial attempt was unsuccessful

Once your order has been dispatched, please check the tracking and allow for the estimated delivery time for your area (outlined on the Delivery information page) to lapse before contacting us to investigate. GoodDrop also provides email notifications to you on the progress of your delivery; at Dispatch, In Transit, On Board for Delivery and Delivered.

Change of Delivery Address

Once an order has been shipped, we are unable to change the delivery address. If the order has not been shipped, we may be able to amend the delivery address, providing supporting ID (Drivers License) can be provided in the customer name and alternate address. If the order has already been collected by the courier then you will need to contact the courier directly to see if a re-direction may be possible. This may incur an additional fee set by the courier to redirect the order.

Authority To Leave

Due to the nature of our goods, Authority to Leave (ATL) requests are not accepted. If a request has been made at the time the order is placed, the request will be removed prior to shipping. A person over the age of 18 years of age must be present to sign for the goods at time of delivery. If an Authority to Leave request is made directly with the courier post shipment, no claims can be made on the goods for lost or damaged items. GoodDrop will not accept any liability for such claims.

Calling Card Left

If you are not at home at the time of delivery, a calling card will be left in your mailbox. This card will advise the next steps required to obtain delivery of your order. Alternatively, if you track your order and see there was an attempted delivery but have not received a calling card, you can arrange a re-delivery using the tracking number provided either by phoning your local Fastway depot or via the Fastway website and selecting the ‘Calling Card Left’ from the home page. If you fail to make arrangements to obtain your goods and the items are returned to our fulfillment centre, you will be responsible for any charges incurred in redelivering the products to you.

Packing and Insurance

All items are packed to a very high standard. All items are insured during transit to cover damage or non-delivery. If you receive any damaged goods, please contact us within 24 hours from delivery to arrange a replacement.

Handling of Large Items

Please note that a full case of wine or spirits weighs more than 16kg. Therefore, we recommend that our customers take extra care when lifting deliveries. If you are concerned at all about the weight, we suggest that you transfer the bottles one or two at a time.

Why do we ask for I.D?

Due to licensing laws, you must be over 18 years of age to place and receive a delivery. Your order will not be left with persons under the age of 18 years (proof of age may be required) and our couriers will use their best endeavours to verify ID. GoodDrop supports the responsible service of alcohol. It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years. We may ask you to provide additional details or require you to confirm your details to enable us to process any orders placed by you through the eBay store.

International Shipping

At this time, we do not ship internationally, only within Australia.

Christmas & New Year Delivery Terms and Conditions

To receive your delivery before Christmas and New Year, please place your order before the recommended cut off dates (AEST) which will be provided on this page. At the time of delivery, if you are not at the delivery address, our Carriers will leave a calling card so you can organise re-delivery or pick up from your local courier depot or Parcel Connect Agent. In the unlikely event your purchase is faulty, damaged, lost in transit or breaches a consumer guarantee we will exchange the product or provide a refund. We will do everything to ensure you receive the replacement in time for Christmas but are unable to guarantee this due to the delivery cut off dates and courier delivery schedules during this peak period.

Returns Policy

Our Returns Policy includes the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law and provides you with additional benefits in addition to those rights, because your satisfaction is important to us. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

If in the event your purchase is faulty, damaged or breaches a consumer guarantee we will refund your money or exchange the product upon presentation of photographic evidence of proof of damage, and if requested by us, the product must be returned to us. For faulty items, we will cover the cost of return postage. For all other types of returns, the return postage cost is the responsibility of the buyer. In this case, if the return is not sent via a traceable method with delivery tracking we will take no responsibility of loss of the returned item(s) or a replacement/refund if you are unable to provide tracking information.

If your product must be returned to our fulfilment centre, please allow up to 5 business days for your refund to be processed after the product has been received. Please note that all returns for reasons other than damage must be in their original condition and packaging. Risk of damage, loss or deterioration to product passes to the buyer upon delivery and therefore no replacements or refunds are offered for products that are damaged after delivery.

Damages

If you receive a delivery with damage or breakages, contact us via eBay message within 24 hours of delivery. We cannot guarantee a replacement or refund will be issued if you fail to notify us within 24 hours. Please provide and attach to the email photographic proof of any damage including how the parcel was delivered (exterior packaging) so we can establish if the parcel has been repackaged during transit. Upon notification of damage and supporting photo evidence, we are required to place an online enquiry with the courier for investigation. A replacement or refund will be provided once the courier response has been received. Please note the courier usually responds within 24 hours, however at times this can be extended pending investigation. Risk of damage, loss or deterioration to product passes to the buyer upon delivery and therefore no replacements or refunds are offered for products that are damaged after delivery.

Lost in Transit (Item Not Received)

All items are insured during transit to cover non-delivery. A tracking number is provided for all orders and it is the responsibility of the customer to track their delivery. Please check the Delivery information provided regarding estimated delivery times to your location. If the time lapsed has fallen outside of this guideline, please contact us so we can follow this directly with the courier. Please note that once 30 days from dispatch has lapsed we are unable to provide a replacement or refund.

If your parcel hasn't arrived, firstly track your parcel on the Fastway website using your label number. This will show you where your parcel is within the Fastway network.

If your parcel has not been received and it is outside of the estimated delivery timeframe and your tracking shows that it is either;

  • To be delivered in the next delivery cycle, please contact Fastway to gain specific delivery information.
  • Still in transit between Fastway depots and no further tracking, please contact us so we can investigate it further with the courier.

Your parcel is not covered by non-delivery insurance when;

  • Your delivery address is to a parcel collection service that is not a Fastway Parcel Connect agent and the tracking shows that it has been delivered and signed for.
  • The order has been redirected or collected from a Depot and not at the original delivery address, and the tracking shows that it has been delivered and signed for.
  • It is outside of 30 days from date of dispatch.

If you have not received your parcel and tracking shows that your parcel has been delivered to your address and signed for by you, we will request a copy of your driver's licence to submit to Fastway as proof of non-delivery. Replacements or refunds will not be issued until the investigation has been completed.

Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind. Product delivered may vary slightly from image shown due to manufacturer or supplier product variations over time. Every effort is made to ensure the current product images, information and vintages are listed, however variations can occur. Product images are for general reference only. 700ml/750ml bottles are interchangeable at the same cost without need for notification to customer. If you have any questions about the product, packaging or vintage, please contact us via eBay message to purchase as this will not be accepted as a valid reason for a return/refund.

This firstly involves the bottle and box being inspected and then encased in heavy duty bubble wrap before being placed into a sturdy cardboard outer. We handle and ship a high volume of products each week and can assure you that we have an extremely low record for damages. We have carefully chosen trusted carriers with proven reliability and exceptional service to transport our goods.
