 I got this autograph from Ralph Sampson myself.  I was in Houston, Texas in front of a historical, Houston New Car Dealership named Frank Gillman Pontiac.  Today, I don't think they are still in business.  At the time, I owned an automobile customizing company, in Houston, called Paint By John.  I was picking up and delivering vehicles to, and from the car dealership and my place of business.  I went to the car dealership, got out of my vehicle, and there was Ralph Sampson sitting inside of a brand new mini van that my shop had customized.  He was way too tall for the mini van.  I went inside the car dealership, asked the receptionist for a piece of paper, she handed me a Frank Gillman Pontiac  envelope that had never been used... i took it outside and asked Ralph for his autograph and he accommodated me on the back of the envelope.  2 scans show both sides of the envelope.
