Sierra Slammers Custom Baits was founded in 2012 by a couple of Californian fishing experts....Jared Smith and Mike Rigney.  They were not satisfied with the range of colours and styles that were available in the world of soft plastics, thus the birth of Sierra Slammers

Jared is GM of Parchers Resort, Bishop California. (If you want to see some fabulous American countryside, check out their website / facebook page.)  Jared is also an avid fisherman, a Fishing Guide, Author, and Speaker on the seminar stage.

Jared's Sierra Slammers partner, Mike Rigney is another angler with a wealth of knowledge and experience.  Along with a lifetime of fishing experience, Mike over the past 8 years has moved into the world of Tournament Bass Fishing, and the recent formation of Salute Fishing.  Mike's obsession with all things tackle makes him an exceptional mind when it comes to designing baits with both superior action and unique, effective colour combinations.

The range of baits include 2" - 7" Swimbaits, Trout Jigs, Tubes, Grubs, Worms and Ball & Chains.

The Sierra Slammers Swimbaits are available in 2.5", 3.5" and 5" models.  At present, new production procedures are underway, so the growing demand for these lures can be met.  We will be adding to our inventory as they become available.  The Sierra Slammers team are continuously developing new colours and combinations.  This being their first appearance in Australian waters, feel free to let us know of any preferred colour choices, and ideas can be passed on to the guys in the US.

These baits fish great on a jighead....a weighted spring-lock swimbait hook like the 'Owner Beast'.  These can be fished as a jig trailer, spinnerbait trailer, or on the dropshot.
