Rex Newell (1939-2016)

Born Frederick Town NSW 1939, lived and worked at Terrigal, Central Coast of NSW, Died in 2016

Painter of Australian pubs and outback landscapes, Australian Way of Life

He completed a commercial art and sign-writing course in Sydney but soon went back to the country and started painting genre subjects at his Mudgeee studio

His now well known for his series of historic buildings and publs around Australia
