Royal Copenhagen Tenera Dish This Tenera Fajence square bowl, designed by Marianne Johnson for Royal Copenhagen, is a beautiful example of mid-century Danish ceramic design. This line of pottery, known for its innovation and artistic expression, became popular in the 1960s and 1970s. Marianne Johnson, one of the notable designers for the Tenera series, brought her unique artistic vision to the collection, which is characterized by its vibrant colours, abstract patterns, and sometimes whimsical motifs. Marianne Johnson’s designs feature bold, abstract floral or geometric patterns. The glaze is usually matte, enhancing the handcrafted feel of each piece and highlighting the intricacies of the design. In excellent vintage condition, no chips, cracks or crazing. Size: 16.5 cm square, 3.5 cm deep; weight 530 g. Please view all the photos before purchasing, they complete the description.
