The writing surface is 77 cm off the ground with generous legroom clearance below top.. allowing for armchair space!When opened the writing surface measures W 111cm and an overall depth of 69cm.The ornate interior with serpentine shaped drawers comparments and central door with steel key.The three large serpentine shaped front lower drawers with marquetry inlay. All drawers open smoothly and have been well serviced. Two original brass keys for the locks included.Fabulous polished patina finish makes this a very rare and desirable desk.It is made in the traditional manner in two sections for easy relocation: desk top and three drawer chest below.
