Designed to represent a Kodak Instamatic Camera. It was used to advertise the new Kodak Instamatic Camera range from 1963, and was given to Kodak shops and pharmacies by travelling Kodak sales representatives. One of the former sales reps, John Harvey, said that the design of the packaging allowed for a little cardboard flash gun to pop up when the packet was opened.
