If you don't have time to rebuild your Homelite or Ryobi carburetor, this RUIXING  Quick-Start is a direct replacement of your old carburetor to get your trimmer running again. You may need to adjust the H and L tuning screws to optimize your engine performance. In order to adjust the tuning screws you need a special PAC-MAN adjusting tool also available on my other listing. You can ask me if you have any questions.

Basic things to check your trimmer why it doesn't or hard to start?

1. Check for petrol - drains old petrol and fill with fresh and correct petrol/oil mixture.

1. Check for compression - pull the cord slowly all the way and should be hard to pull with stopping opposing force.

2. Check for spark - remove the spark plug, attach the lead to the spark plug and ground the plug to the engine. Crank the engine hard and observe for spark.

3. Check fuel lines - replace perished fuel line, fuel filter, primer pump or primer bulb.

4. If all the above still doesn't start your trimmer then it's time to rebuild or replace your carburetor. After replacing, 99% it should starts.

Note: I left 1% for the timing for the flywheel where in worst case when safety pin snaps no matter what it won't start.
