Lamp Base A lamp base from Australian timber — blackwood I believe – with its original period hexagonal shade, very Art Deco with the stepped skyscraper style base and the chamfered stem. The timber is in excellent vintage condition with some light appropriate wear, the shade is good with one small spot of deterioration, see final photo. Not that light globe is not included. Size: about 38 cm high to the top of the fittings, 62 cm to the top of the shade, base 14 cm square, shade is 31 cm across; total weight about 1.1 Kg. Please view all the photos before purchasing, they complete the description. While I do my best to reproduce the true colours of the pieces, they will vary slightly from system to system, and in actual viewing they will vary under differing lighting. All white spots are purely light reflections from the camera flash. Shipping: postage includes tracking worldwide. The item will first be wrapped in bubble before packing securely in a solid box with lots of peanuts – earthquake proof.
