These Knob sets on round backplates are a quality reproduction of a heritage design. They feature a nylon bush, and floating spindle ensuring a smooth effortless operation. They are suitable for use on external and internal doors. Tradco brand door furniture is backed by a 10 year mechanical warranty for domestic use.

**OPTION EXPLANATIONS**   ~"KNOB SET ONLY"~ The item is for the Mortice Knob set only, (spindle included). This may team up with most existing tube latches.

BELOW ARE COMBO PACKAGES- CHOOSE DEPENDING ON YOUR REQUIREMENTS

~"KNOB SET + TUBE LATCH"~ This item is for the Mortice Knob set supplied with a tubelatch, a standard size 60mm backset to spindle centre (80mm total intrusion into door frame). All you need to operate an INTERNAL door.

~"KNOB SET + JACKSONS LOCK"~ This item is for the Knob set supplied with a Jacksons brand JM560 5 lever mortice lock with traditional skeleton keys (2) and oval Keyhole Escutcheons (2) to sit below the knobs on the door. See pics for sizing. All you need to securely operate and lock an EXTERNAL door.

~"KNOB SET + LATCH + PRIVACY"~ This combo is for the Mortice Knob set + Tube latch (as per above combo) together with an independent Privacy Bolt that operates with a turn snib. You can choose where to install it on the door in relation to your latched door handle, usually sits just below the knob set . A 57mm back set matches the Knob position on the door. The privacy bolt is operated with a thumb turn mounted on a small round backplate (inside of room) and a slotted button on the outside lever for emergency entrance. All you need to create a privacy situation on an internal door.

!! Some other options to consider.

>You may not want keys to be the same if you are buying multiple locks? Drop us an email after the purchase, lock will be supplied "keyed alike" unless otherwise advised.

 PLEASE NOTE- If you are choosing a Jacksons lock combo it is recommended that the door thickness is at least 38mm. The screws on the knobset back plate may interfere with the lock inside the door and even with a 38mm door some screws may have to be shortened to be able to clear the mortice lock. (this is normal)    

PLEASE NOTE: if your doors have predrilled large round holes to suit modern invisible fix type handles then these levers may not suitable (will not cover the existing hole).

house.works does not usually accept returns for a "change of mind". We will however work with the buyer and exchange items purchased to make a project work. Australian consumer law regarding faulty items will naturally still apply.
