Presenting an exceptional vintage Native American etched horse hair pottery vessel masterfully hand crafted and signed by a talented Navajo artist. This exceptionally attractive example is expertly decorated with a traditional etched design inscribed into the surface of the horsehair pottery form. The intricate design has been finished in lustrous metallic tones of gold, green and blue, the layers of colour smoothly blending to create an impressive range of tones. SIZE: This impressive vessel stands approx 115mms tall and measures 135mms in diameter. WEIGHT: This piece weighs 430 grams unpackaged. CONDITION: This stunning vessel is presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips. cracks or repairs. There are a few scuffs and scratches to the pattern mentioned for complete accuracy. This fine example presents very well. MARKS: This piece is beautifully signed to the base with the artists' inscribed signature, believed to read "XC Smith" as indicated in the images.
