Brand new turntable drive belt (two of, i.e. a pair) as used on NSM record-playing mechanisms on NSM juke boxes from 1961 to 1967.
The old rubber rings/drive belts will have hardened
and become brittle by now and may exhibit wear and stretching.
Such wear and stretching will cause distortion and speed variation in the music playback,
and will definitely lessen your enjoyment and experience.
New production/stock of the turntable drive belt for the record-playing mechanism in NSM model jukes from 1961 to 1967 - see models listing under.
This belt has a diameter of 38 mm (= 1 3/8 to 1 7/16”) and is 6 mm (just less than ¼”) wide.
This belt is used on those mechanisms (45 rpm only) which use the TWO drive belts - where those drive belts are guided over ONE idler wheel.
Models include:
These models, for 45 rpm play only (no 33 rpm), use two drive belts (each 38 mm dia.) guided over one idler wheel only! See separate listing for the 57 mm belts.
On later NSM models using the so-called "E" technology, the turntable is driven directly by the motor – see also our listing for the turntable outer drive ring – eBay item # 253643874867 (Header: NSM juke box jukebox Turntable Rubber Drive Ring; brand new; N.S.M. )
Note: The juke box models mentioned above use 2 of these 38 mm dia. drive belts, as well as the turntable drive ring .
