'The remarkable Archie Scott-Brown' William Archibald Scott Brown  1927 - 1958 'Archie' Scott Brown in the Lister-Jaguar MVE 303, leading through the Esses to win the STANLEY Sears Trophy race at Snetterton, on May 19th 1957. One of many victories for the successful Cambridge based trio of Archie, Brian Lister and engine builder Don Moore at their 'home' circuit. The young scot was a remarkable driver, severely handicapped from birth, who overcame his difficulties to become one of motor racing's legendary all time greats. 

He sadly died as a result of an accident at Spa-Francorchamps, almost one year later on May 18th 1958.
