Mazda RX8. Sept 2004. 6 speed manual. 13B twin rotor engine. With RWC.
Getting hard to find, Mazda RX8, Manual, 6 speed box (not 5) sports clutch. In Grey metallic with red and black leather trim.
Few knocks and scrapes, but nothing major. Mainly supermarket trolleys, and carpark car doors I think.
Had this RX for a while now, when I got it the engine was down on compression on one rotor, as they often do when over 150,000k. Wouldn't start when hot. Bought a low mileage motor and had it fitted around 8,000k ago. Runs really well, starts first time every time and has been fully serviced with new plugs and coils, coolant, filters and cylinder oil injection. looked after properly as you need to do with these classic rotary's. All recalls up to date.
Oil and filter every 5,000 k. Dip the oil regularly and add. also pre mixing Castrol R40 with fuel for added Apex protection.
Cat back twin box exhaust fitted, and Takeda cold air intake kit,. Runs really well. A test ride will not disappoint.
Currently in Parkdale. Registered but nearly run out, so I will hand in the plates and sell with a 30 day VIC roads permit and RWC for you to fit your own plates and register for 3, 6 or 12 months as you want.

Delivery of the car, or collection of the buyer from the station can be negotiated. And if you were wondering why I am selling such a lovely car ? I have a injured left knee, and although I hate to admit it, I am going to be driving an automatic from now on. (shock horror). At least the auto's have a manual override, so I am effectively going to be driving a 5 speed with an automatic clutch. But still an embarrassing "auto". sob sob.
All paperwork for the recently fitted replacement engine will be provided, including donor car details, purchace paperwork and transport to Melbourne documentation Etc.
