This performance 82°C thermostat suits Holden Buick LN3 L27, Ecotec L36 and L67 Supercharged 3.8L V6 engines.

Why

Heat is the single biggest killer of performance and can actually damage your engine if its exposed to extreme temperatures for a extended time frames. Avoiding heat in its various forms will not only help boost your engine's performance but also ensure that power levels are consistent and reliable.

A cheap way to reduce coolant temperatures in these engines is by installing one of our 82°C thermostats.

What

Factory-supplied thermostats begin to open at 92°C. This is far too high for a performance application. At this temperature, your engine could begin to suffer from pre-ignition (detonation) or at the very least the ECU will retard the ignition timing to prevent detonation, robbing you of precious horsepower.

How

Our 82°C thermostat opens much earlier than the factory item, allowing coolant to flow through the engine from the radiator much sooner. This limits the peak engine temperature by 10°C, preventing overheating.

With your engine running consistently cooler, your horsepower levels across the rev range will be more consistent and reliable which is especially good for boosted applications or even when towing on hot summer days.

Returns Policy

At Mace Engineering Group, we take great care in packaging of your products appropriately to ensure that they arrive in perfect condition. If for any reason your product is damaged during shipment, please contact us immediately to arrange for the return of your product(s) within 14 days. We will then provide you with a replacement product as soon as possible.

If you receive a product with manufacturing defect, it must be returned within 14 days. After appropriate testing, if it is found that the defect is due to misuse, willful damage, unauthorized repair or tampering with the product by the customer, return will not be accepted by Mace Engineering Group. Strictly no returns/refunds will be given due to buyer's change of mind or remorse. This is in compliance to the ACCC warranties and refunds.

Re-Stocking Fee & Refunds

If a purchased item is returned due to buyer's remorse or misorder, 10-15% re-stocking fee will be applicable at our discretion, depending on the item.

Paypal has changed its refund policy and will no longer refund the fees deducted for the original transaction, therefore, Mace Engineering Group will deduct the 2% fee while making a partial or full refund other than the restocking fee, if applicable

Postage cost is non-refundable.

Domestic Orders

• Orders typically take 1-2 business days to prepare and process prior to dispatch.
• Freight may take 1-7 business days from the date of dispatch to delivery within Australia.
• Orders can also be picked up directly from us on business days. Please email us.
• Orders are neither dispatched nor delivered on weekends.

International Orders

• Shipping will be calculated automatically based on the delivery address.
• Orders outside of Australia may take up to 10 days.
• You will be responsible for any applicable taxes and/or duties and will need to be paid upon delivery.

Product Warranty

Mace Engineering Group products are covered by a 1 year warranty, unless otherwise specified in the ad or written agreement from Mace Engineering Group.

Terms of Warranty

Customer must return the defective item(s) first, with a full description of the problem. Appropriate tests will be conducted to determine the authenticity of the defects and claims. Once, Mace Engineering Group is satisfied, identical items(s) will be sent out to the customer.

Please ensure proper packaging of the product to prevent any damage while in transit, as goods are at owner's risk.
