Two Large, Framed, Original And Authentic Medieval Gregorian Chant / Psalms / Hymns Manuscript Leaves  Musical Sheets  Circa 1420-1440 AD  Source of the book is not known  Family heirloom They are wonderful decorative items Purchased from a small antique shop in Southern France in the late 1970's and had them framed in the 80's in Australia The vellum pages are double sided / One frame is heavier (mounted on wood) the other is on paper board   Lines of music, on animal parchment (Vellum)  Written in liturgical Gothic script / Interlinear musical notation is in black on a red stave  Illuminated initials appear on both  Frame: 66cm x 81cm.
