This car is one in a new series of G Scale mini cars for 2022 from the Shourt Line.

Photo shows the included Walk-Way & Link Pin Couplers Installed. The LGB Hook and Loop couplers are also included but now shown above. (track, figures platforms, other cars, and lighting fixtures are not included with item)

The car comes with both LGB Hook and Loop couplers and the SL Walk-Way Platforms with Link Pin couplers. You can install either or both at the same time.

The animated photo above shows both the SL Walk-Way Platforms with SL Link Pin coupler and the LGB Coupler installed. This provides a Convenient Walk-Way between cars while the Hook and Loop couplers connect and disconnect cars. When creating a work, MOV, or Mining train it is useful to use only the Walk-Way Link Pins for connecting cars as shown in the photo below.

The SL Walk-Way Platform and SL Link Pin creates a more secure connection for SL Mini Cars as shown above. The flat car is connected on the left side to an SL 1008039 Gondola with an SL 2308001 Coal Load on the right side to an SL 1001200 Flat Car 3 Level Rope Fence. This classic SL 1001000 Mini-Max Flat Car w 6 Stakes comes comes with PIKO Metal Wheels mounted with self lubricating bearings. Also included are a set of LGB Hook and Loop Couplers with 2 SL mounting screws, and 2 each SL Walk-Way Platform Coupler sets. The SL Walk-Way Platforms offer access between cars and also a secure method of coupling cars. You can choose to couple the cars with the included LGB Hook and Loop couplers or any other coupler for LGB cars including the LGB link and pin couplers or LGB knuckle couplers (see photos below).

The bottom of the car has mounting pads on each end for any type of LGB coupler for complete compatibility with LGB, PIKO and other G Scale trains. the bottom of the car also features tunnels under the coupler for wire routing as well as indents for passing wires to the ends of the cars for car to car power connections. There are 1mm holes for mounting the optional SL Brakeman's Box.

The car is made with high temperature ABS plastic for indoor/outdoor use. Wood texturing is added for a prototypical appearance. The car is ready to run with Metal wheels mounted in self-lubricating bearings for reliable low friction and high load capacity and your choice of LGB or SL couplers.

The optional LGB 64777 Link & Pin Coupler is shown above installed on one end of the car and the optional chain pin has be inserted into the center hole for holding the chain up. The Walk-Way Platform has been removed from this end of the car for close coupling of cars. Shown above is the Optional SL 6500000 Brakeman's Box mounted on the bottom of the car. The Optional LGB 64193 Knuckle Coupler has been installed on the end of the car. Note the Optional SL 1109002 Stairs inserted on to the platform.
