Absolutely no compromises or shortcuts are taken with the Commando series with its piston assembly consisting of a 33mm CNC alloy machined gate connection, a 31mm stainless steel piston, a 35mm brass driven nut, a 19mm (3/4″) worm drive on the DC motor and then a 19mm (3/4″) lead screw for the piston assembly to travel on. This gate actuator is built for a lifetime of use.
The laser cut steel brackets for the gate and post cater for all installations allowing for up to 16 different mounting configurations to achieve the desired pivot geometry for either pulling inwards to open and also pushing outwards to open installations. The post bracket assembly consists to three parts, the top and bottom plates are 4mm thick each whilst the curved tongue is 8mm thick. The total thickness of the post bracket assembly when assembled is an outstanding 16mm.
The Commando 424 has a 400mm stroke and the ability to work with gates from as short as 1m and as wide as 3.6m (12ft) with a maximum weight of 450kg, if a wider gate is installed please see the Commando 624 with a stroke length of 600mm.

The Cero Solar Regulator is PWM type suited for Gel, Sealed and Flooded batteries. It operates in a 3 stage charging control to ensure optimal performance to the batteries and provide the greatest longevity. The Cero is has protections in place in case of errors and failures in the solar panel installation or battery installation and will shut down in the case of short circuit and overload, then restart once clear.
The LCD display provides accurate data on the current input voltage from the solar panel, the current stage of charging and also the current battery voltage making it easy to check the status on the fly.

Option 2 (Premier 24-15B): The 15aH Deep Cycle setup allow for up to a two and a half weeks of usage without any charge from the solar panel in a typical residential installation of 10 cycles per days (whilst factoring in standby power), this is the ideal choice for areas that may see a consistent week of poor weather poor weather through winter without sunlight. This is great minimum choice for VIC, NSW, SA, ACT and TAS.
Option 3 (Alpha 22B): The 22aH Deep Cycle setup allows for well over three weeks in a typical residential installation of 10 cycles per days without seeing any charge from the solar panel (whilst factoring in standby power). It can also support Light commercial usage.
The allowances are general in nature and typically factor for a continuous period taking into account overcast and other poor weather conditions along with wet seasons that will contribute to a no charge/minimal charge result from the solar system. These allowances do not take into account shade on the solar panel which will effect the overall charging.
These allowances DO NOT take into account WiFi and Bluetooth Modules, as system consumption will increase using one of these devices Always use the next option up or maximum battery pack.
