The JVA SV1 is a solar powered electric fence energiser that is ready to go straight out of the box! Designed and supported in Australia, the SV1 is the perfect portable electric fence power solution. Its integrated design makes it perfect for strip grazing, with no need to lug or replace flat batteries. The solar panel on the SV1 charges the inbuilt battery and the energiser runs off the battery. The SV1 also packs enough punch to be great in small permanent electric fence setups. Once charged the battery will run the SV1 for around 5 days of bad weather. Unlike some other units, the SV1 Solar panel is large enough so that you do not need an external charger as well.

The best method to compare energizers is to use pulse output energy (Joules). This one, like most of the other solar units sold on Ebay, is made in China . Why do we sell China Made? Because we are being out sold ten to one by imported products. So we decided to try an experiment. We had a bulk lot made in a factory in China which we personally inspected. These are good quality, in fact we defy you to tell the difference.
