Golden flax meal, lupin, whey protein, rice protein, pea protein, kibbled sunflower, almond meal, coconut flour, linseeds, baking powder (gluten free), sunflower seeds and chia seeds
Directions for Preparation of One Loaf
You will need:
150 g egg whites or 3 large eggs
a pinch of salt
460 mL water
1 packet of Protein Bread Mix
Preparation
Set your oven to 180°C and preheat for 20 minutes. Line a loaf tin (approx. 22cm x 9cm) with baking paper.
Step 1: Mix
Empty the contents of this packet into a large mixing bowl. Make a well in the center and add the water and eggs. Gently hand mix with a spoon or whisk only.
Step 2: Pour
Pour mix into the tin. Sprinkle with your favourite seeds.
Step 3: Bake
Bake in a moderate oven (180°C) for 60-70 minutes. Allow to cool completely before slicing with a sharp serrated bread knife.
Storing your Protein Bread
Once cooked and cooled, keep refrigerated at 1-4°C and consume within 5 days or slice and freeze in sandwich bags for up to 3 months.
