HELPFUL HERBS TASTY TEAS- 30G / 50G / 100G

Pleasant tasting teas for every day use. The directions on the label are for a non medicinal use. The small quantities used means that, like culinary use of herbs, they will not interfere with doctor’s medications or over thin the blood while taking Warfarin for example.

I re use the herbs the following day using a little less boiling water for a second brew.

The teas are grown with no chemicals or fertilisers. They are grown and dried locally or bought from a reputable supplier.

Elderflowers, Honeysuckle, Marigold flowers, Meadowsweet, 2 Mints, and Rose petals ( Sambucus nigra, Lonicera, Melissa officinalis, Calendular officinalis, Filipendula Mentha spp, spicata,piperita nigra, Rosa Damascus/ apothecary.

Applemint and Lemon Balm with the complement of Honeysuckle blossom, Elder flowers and supported with Red clover and Marigold blossoms create a mild minty flavor with touches of a summer breeze creating depth and the variety of the smell of a summer hedgerow.

A superb mixture of flavours which complement each other to conjure up a european summer garden or verge.

For helping maintain a healthy STOMACH. Drink half hour before or after meals or between meals. ‘Nice hot or cold, with or without lemon and honey. A good change from the caffeine drinks I drink too much of.’

Chamomile+ to include a mix from the following herbs

Catnep, Chamomile, Lemon Balm, Lime flowers, Oatstraw, Passion flowers, Skullscap, Wood Betony. (Nepata cataria, Matricaria recutita, Melissa officinalis, Tilia Europea, Avena sativa, Passiflora incernata, Scutellaria lateriflora, Stachys officinalis).

Lemon, lime, catnep and passion flowers brighten the grounding flavours of oatstraw and chamomile helping towards relaxation and feeling stress free in a variety of situations.

Cornsilk+

Celery seed, Cornsilk, Fennel, Juniper Berries, Lemon Peel, Nettles.

(Apium graveolens, Zea mays, Foeniculum vulgare, Juniperus communis, Citrus limonum, Urtica dioica).

A gentle full flavor. Earthy, soothing and medicinal tasting.

Elderflower compound

Elderflowers, Mint, Yarrow, Ginger.

(Sambucus Nigra, Mentha spp, Achillea millefolium, Zingiber officinale)

A classic mix for helping to maintain NORMAL SWEATING while having a cold. In a tisane dose it’s a very pleasant tasting tea. Aromas reminiscent of a warm summer breeze after a light shower, then the sun returns, bringing scents of summer with the exotic flavor of ginger.

Ginko +

Damiana, Ginko, Marjoram, Orange Peel, Rosemary.

(Turnera diffusa, Ginko biloba, Origanum vulgare, Citrus aurantium, Rosemarinus officinalis).

This is a heady mix of herbs, designed to help maintain a healthy CIRCULATION to the BRAIN and healthy feeling of WELL BEING. Rosemary has a long association with remembrance, it’s taste being light and medicinal. This tea has a special, interesting flavour provided by Damiana from central America which has an uplifting scent.

The heady, top end aromas of Orange, Rosemary, Marjarum and Damiana are balanced by the milder taste of Ginko’s leaves. Ginko is one of nature’s successes as it’s been around since early dinosaur times.

Hawthorn flowers +

Catnep, Crushed Chillies, Hawthorn flowers, Yarrow.

(Nepeta cararia, Capsicum frutescens , Crategus oxyacantha, Achillea millefolium)

This tea’s medium hot Chillie flavour is heart warming and will help to maintain a normal balance of circulation and blood pressure. The catnep flavor contains B vitamins and has it’s own special minty flavor that cats enjoy chewing or rolling in so much.

Honeysuckle +

Honeysuckle, Elderflowers, Red Clover.

A lovely mix from Galloway.

Horsetail +

Alfalfa, Comfrey Herb, Chamomile, Horsetail, Oat Straw, Nettles.

(Medicago sativa, Symphytum officinale, Matricaria recutita, Equisetum arvense, Avena sativa, Urtica Dioica).

A gentle, earthy tasting tea. Horsetail contains silica. It’s harsh roughness is tempered by it’s role it can contribute to CALCIUM absorbsion.

The tea contains 5 vigourous growing plants. They all collect many nutrients from their deep or vigourous root system. These plants have higher concentration of tissue absorbable CALCIUM than many.

Thyme + Tea

Liquorice, Plaintain, Red Clover flowers, Thyme herb

( Glycyrrhiza glabra, Plaintain lanceota, Trifolium Pratense, Thymus vulgaris)

This tisane has a medicinally aromatic flavour reflective of the vapours which reach the lungs. This tea has a soothing, supporting, slightly sweet flavor.

Cinnamon, Dandelion root+

Cinnamon Bark, Dandelion root, Fennel seeds, Ginger root, Juniper Berries, Lemon Peel, Orange Peel, Sichuan Pepper seeds, ½ Cloves.

A spicy tea made by boiling. It reminds me of Christmas cake or Yogi tea.
