For sale is this lovely antique Edwardian era grandfather chair or armchair with carving, original ceramic casters, and velvet upholstery.  I got this in original condition from an antique shop in Braidwood NSW, and was told it came from a local country house. The original leather upholstery had been damaged beyond repair, so I had it professionally reupholstered and covered in a quality cherry red velvet about 10 years ago, but left the the timber untouched to retain the patina.   It is in excellent structural condition with no wobbles, the original casters work perfectly, and the velvet fabric is also in excellent condition .  There are some scratches and dings to the legs and frame from moving house a few times.  I had it in the bedroom so it's had very little use.
