This vintage tea set from mid-century Japan features a unique and quirky design, perfect for collectors of kitsch decor. The set is incomplete and missing components, the pieces included are: 4 x saucers, 2 x cups and a lidded sugar bowl, all adorned with the face of an "ugly fruit" character. It might be an apple. Miniature in size, the saucer's diameter is 9.5 cm and the tallest piece, the sugar bowl stands at approximately 7cm.    This set is being sold in as is condition, with the understanding that one of the cups is cracked on both sides, and as careful as I will be with packaging it, there is no guarantee that this one part will arrive intact. I have photographed this, it's the last photo. Despite this, it is an original piece and a great addition to any decorative collection. Don't miss out on this charming and rare find!
