This trumpet has had a lot of use in its time. It was my Fathers first when he was in Jr. High in the early 1950's; I played it from 1971 - 1974; my son played it was a couple of years in the late 1990's and then my Nephew played it in the early 2000's. I had to replace the original case in the late 1990's as it fell apart.
Engraved on the top of the horn is 90 DE LUXE GETZEN ELKHORN, WIS. On the middle valve is engraved the Pat. No. 15796 on the side.
Trumpet comes as is with the newer (1990s) SKB case, a music stand that attaches to the horn for when performing in a marching band; and 3 mouthpieces: 1 - GETZEN Co. Elkhorn, Wis.; 1 - Vincent Bach Corp. 7C; 1 - 1 Vincent Bach Corp. NEW YORK 101/2 C.
