Brand New Oympic Chess Pieces 

In Handmade Wooden Storage Box 

This set is handmade in southern Poland using timber from sustainable sources.

The storage box is separated into 2 compartments. The outside is stained brown and has a semi matt brush lacquered finish.

The chessmen are made from sycamore wood which is turned and crafted by hand.

The dark playing pieces are stained brown, the lighter pieces are natural wood.  

The pieces have a lacquered finish.

The approximate weights and sizes are as follows,

King - 10g, 68mm / 2.72"  tall , 23mm / 0.92" base

Queen - 7g, 55mm / 2.2" tall, 23mm / 0.92" base

Bishop - 5g, 50mm / 2.0" tall, 23mm / 0.92" base

Knight - 6g, 45mm / 1.8" tall, 23mm / 0.92" base

Castle - 6g, 45mm / 1.8" tall, 23mm / 0.92" base

Pawn - 3g, 35mm / 1.4" tall, 20mm / 0.8" base

The box measures approx
