Buy Bamboo tree - Gracilis, Bambusa textilis var. gracilis Slender erect green culms that when exposed at base will reveal long green internodes that turn yellow when in contact with the sun. Gracilis is a very popular variety and for good reason. Its growth rate is rapid and can handle almost any growing conditions and soil types and still look spectacular. Also known as Slender Weaver Bamboo it has dense evergreen foliage that can be left low to the ground or pruned away to show of its many culms. Gracilis is a non-invasive tight clumper that can easily grow in a narrow boxed garden bed. The fresh new shoots are edible. Culms can be split in long lengths, are strong and thin walled making them ideal for use in handcrafts such as basket weaving, furniture making, and musical instruments to name a few.

Can I send to different Delivery Addresses?

No, When ordering we send all your plants even if ordered separately to the most recent delivery address we receive from you. If you wish to send plants as gifts or to friends using multiple delivery addresses please contact us first or wait until your first order has been sent with a tracking number before placing another order using a different address.

Will this grow at my place?

Use the item specifications above taking particular note of Climate and Frost Tolerance to make your decision. For some reason the personality of people who like to grow fruit trees favours the bold and people from VIC like to grow Subtropical - Tropical plants even though they are more suited to Temperate - Subtropical. This also works the other way people in QLD like to grow Temperate plants when they should be growing Subtropical - Tropical plants. There is nothing wrong with this but you must accept that you are taking a risk and you should research techniques that will minimise this risk.

What is Your Quality Like Compared to Other Plants on Ebay?

Because we have been selling fruit trees via the post since 1980 Yes that's right 30+ years we know the right pot size to send plants by mail order so that you get success. We only know this by customer feedback on each different variety and this takes decades to understand and act upon. When comparing our plants to another seller take note of their pot size and plant size, a mistake other mail order nurseries and especially backyard sellers make is selling them too small to save on freight and get a quick sale. So make sure you compare our pot and plant size to theirs. If the plant is a Grafted plant or a cutting grown plant take note of the rootstock and scion sources that are used. Vigerous varieties are hard to come across and once we find them we stick to them because it means our customers will get a plant that sets fruit quickly with a proven taste and fruit size and grows vigerously. As with all plants you purchase you don't know the results for a few years so paying the right price to get the best quality makes you happy in 2 years and makes us happy too.

When & How will this Plant Arrive?

Delivery Instructions are: "ATL - Authority to Leave in shaded position no signature" unless we are informed otherwise. However this is no guarantee that it won't be carded as it all depends on your local delivery driver who we have no control over. If it has been 5 working days after we updated ebay with track and trace information and you don't have your plants please follow these steps.
Step 1: Find your tracking number & courier company by going My Ebay -> Purchase History -> View Order Details. Step 2: Go to the courier companies for more information
Courier companies we use: Australia Post | Fastways Couriers | Couriers Please | Startrack Express | Sendle Couriers
and enter your tracking number. Please do not go onto the next step unless it is Monday afternoon. We need to give the courier company time to do their job. Step 3: Use tracking number to get more information directly from courier company. If after getting a response you still need more help Step 4: Ask me for more details via ebay. ( Please complete previous steps first )
Your plants are packed to last 2-3 weeks in transit and with a good drenching of water and a full sun position they usually recover from transit quite quickly. Plants like this are surprisingly resiliant they just need to be pampered for a week.

Rural Customers Please Read

If you are beyond the 60kph signs from your towns CBD you are classified as a rural customer. It is very unlikely that your order will be delivered to your door. After the plants have been sent you will receive a track and trace number with the courier company. You can use this number or code to see when your item is awaiting pickup. You will then need to arrange to pick up your order from the courier companies depo or pickup location. Please note that even though we try to get the courier company to deliver to your door sometimes this is not the case especially if you are rural and you will need to make this journey to pick up the plants.

Return Policy

Growing plants is meant to be fun so if within 30 days you are not happy with the quality or it is not as described we will pay for a postage paid return label to stick on the box. Once we receive the box we will then refund the entire cost that you paid including postage.

If possible include a picture and give us a chance to give you some tips because after all the plant is alive and sometimes their leaves droop in transit and just need a bit of loving care. Unlike electronics for example that look great when you open the box but stop working in 5 years time. Plants may be drooping their leaves or even losing their leaves especially in Winter but come 5 years time they will look amazing. But again we want you to be happy and you do have the option of sending them back.
