The Brazil 5 Reais Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Brazil in 2010 in a color combination of purple and blue. The obverse features the effigy of Republica. The reverse depicts a great egret bird standing in a swamp and a puzzle number. The note contains a watermark that reveals an egret and an electrotype 5. The note is 128 x 64 mm in size and is signed by Henrique Meirelles and Ilan Goldfajn. It is in uncirculated condition.
