The Daiwa Shore Spartan Rough Ride F is the floating stick bait of the Shore Spartan range. Rough Ride features a cleverly placed tungsten weight in the tail of the bait, producing the perfect floatation level to create the tantalising dive and ‘S’ wave swimming action which is loved by so many pelagic predators. Rigged with #2/0 HD treble hooks and #8 split rings, this lure is ready to get rough!

The first thing you notice about the Daiwa Shore Spartan lure range is their unique golf ball dimple structure. This design aids in the baits performance through the air, especially during periods of heavy wind, making the lures quite good at casting for their size and weight. It also helps with stability in turbulent waters. A heavy-duty construction begins with a 1.8mm thick body, inside the body, an internal rib structure further increases strength.

The Daiwa Saltiga Dorado Slider series are sinking slide baits which combine actions and attraction qualities of both jerkbaits and topwater. These baits have been a go-to bait for many pelagic species. The lure sinks while keeping horizontal position and can be worked with an array of retrieves. Casting the bait into the breaking fish and just letting the bait sink horizontally can be deadly.

1 x Nomad Design Riptide 125mm Sinking 35g Rip125-SS-SGM Silver Green Mackerel

Nomad are renowned for making quality lures, and the riptide is no exception. Built tough for hard hitting pelagics, a must have for the reef. 

The sinking 125 has the internal weights placed to maximise casting but also to allow the lure to be retrieved with a sub surface walk the dog action, which sees the lure able to turn nearly 180 degrees underwater when retrieved slowly with a walk the dog “twitching” rod tip action. The sinking 125 riptide literally dances side to side underwater when fished with this retrieve, and this is an action difficult to replicate with any other lure.

 

The Gorilla Through Wire system is used on the 115 and 125 sizes making them super tough and ensuring that big fish never gets away. Fitted with 4X strong Ultra Anti Rust BKK trebles. All Riptide lures are finished with a super tough triple layer clear coat finish, applied by hand during production. The Riptide casting lures are ready to perform straight out of the box.

This through wire system has the wire bend around a set of extra plastic supports internally, making the wire less likely to separate from the lure body, and ensuring ultimate strength. The Through wire is also welded at both ends to ensure you never lose that big fish.

 HD ABS SYSTEM

Normal plastic was simply not strong enough for our lures, so we designed a special formula of High Density ABS plastic, which is a white colour, and is ultimately stronger than any other plastic used for lure production. These lures feature a thicker wall construction, meaning ultimate strength and durability.
