Adafruit Feather 32u4 with RFM95 LoRa radio, 868 or 915 MHz, RadioFruit
The Adafruit Feather 32u4 RFM95 LoRa (900 MHz) has an RFM95 LoRa transceiver, a USB port with serial converter and a charging circuit for 3.7 V LiPo batteries.
The board is based on an Atmel ATmega32u4 microcontroller, which is operated with 3.3 V and clocked with 8 MHz. The chip has 32 KB of flash memory, 2 KB of RAM and an integrated USB controller, so that no FTDI is required for the serial connection, for example.
Ideal for mobile applications! The board has a connection for 3.7 V LiPo batteries and a charging circuit. The board can be operated and the battery can be charged via the microUSB port. The Feather M0 RFM95 LoRa automatically switches from battery to USB operation when the board is connected via USB. The battery voltage can be measured via an analog input on the board.
Product features:
The remaining space of the Feather 32u4 LoRa is taken up by an RFM9x LoRa 868/915 MHz radio module. The transceiver is suitable for the transmission of small data packets over long distances that are unsuitable for 2.4 GHz networks (BT, BLE, WLAN, ZigBee). The communication between the microcontroller and the radio module takes place via the SPI interface. The appropriate Arduino library for control is available here: https://www.airspayce.com/mikem/arduino/RadioHead/ With standard library settings and use of a quarter-wave wire antenna, the range of the radio transmission is 2 km outdoors. With the right settings and use of a directional antenna, 20 km are possible!
Comes fully tested with USB bootloader for use with the Arduino IDE and pin headers. The pin headers can be soldered on by you if necessary. The battery, USB cable and breadboard are not included in the scope of delivery.
