How It Works?

Advocate contains two key ingredients – moxidectin and imidacloprid. These two compounds work together to protect cats. Imidacloprid treats fleas and ear mites which can cause dermatitis and ear infections in cats. Moxidectin kills intestinal worms and immature form of heartworm larvae by affecting their nerve transmission. Advocate controls roundworms Toxocara cati and Toxascaris leonina including larval (L4) and immature adult stages; hookworms Ancylostoma tubaeforme, A. Braziliense,  Uncinaria stenocephala, including larval (L4) and immature adult stages of all species of worms.

 How to use

  • Weigh your cat before starting the treatment.
  • Remove one applicator from the pack.
  • Part the fur on the back of the cat’s neck at the base of the head to spot the skin.

  • Do not allow pet to groom until the application area is dry.
