These 1961 One Pound Coombs / Wilson notes are a consecutive trio with a very rare printing error. The 5th digit in the serial number is misaligned on the first serial number of all 3 notes and is also misaligned on the second serial number of the third note. It is estimated that 99.9% of all errors are detected at the time of printing and then the notes are withdrawn, making these undetected error notes very rare and very collectable. This is more rare than the star note, which was deliberately printed to replace the error notes which were detected. They were replaced with star notes. The condition of the notes is EF ( extremely fine). These notes are from my parents' estate.
