Have to say there are lots of dewalt old tools out there that going strong and the build quality is really decent even better than the model ones. Unfortunately the old dewalt battery didn't last well as they are based on the nicd cells, unlike the latest lithium batteries. Now with this adaptor, you can extend the life of those tools even when you are on Makita platform.

Buy with confidence. It's injection molding, so it's as smooth and as tough as your original battery case. Only thick gauge brass pin and wires are used as I know the peak current of a circular saw can reach up to 30A (when timber is pinching, or you are a lefty and using a right hand saw lol). 

I took every aspects into account and look after your needs, now it's your turn, try to use it as hard as you can, see if you can damage it (not like pitch it or soak it of course), and if you do, below worry free warranty will continue to look after you:)
