Vintage tools - drill bit #101: 

Up for sale is a handy set of 12 x SCOTCH PATTERN AUGER BITS, good for drilling hardwoods, square tapered shank for fitting into a hand brace, various makers.

• 13/16" Titan 20.4mm

• 11/16" Footprint 17.6mm

• 5/8" Wm Ridgeway 15.6mm

• 9/16" Gilpin 14.4mm

• 1/2" Mathieson 12.4mm

• 7/16" Wm Ridgeway 11.6mm

• 3/8" Wm Ridgeway 10.3mm

• 5/16" illegible 8.1mm

• 1/4" Made in England 7mm

Be aware that if you go to most hardware shops you pay approximately $1 per millimetre of width per twist bit, so this is a very good deal for a set of 12. 

Very hard to find a comprehensive set of 12 Scotch Pattern Auger bits, perfect for the unplugged workshop.

CONDITION These drill bits are in authentic vintage condition, wear and tear consistent with age and use, could do with a light sharpen with a needle file, the Whitehouse has some wear to one wing, a good set of 12 scotch pattern augers, essential for the unplugged workshop.

* Every item or combined items with a value of more than $300 have an added $3 for "Signature on delivery"; this is compulsory by Australia Post. 

* I'm using recycled packing materials as much as possible to help the environment. I take pride in my packing; so all items are packed well to protect your purchases. 

* If stated that the item is registered & trackable, once the packed parcel has been given to Australia Post, it's out of my hands & I will not be responsible for the delivery time of Australia Post. Tracking will be automatically available via the eBay system, more detailed tracking is available via the Australia Post website.
